"We have been working with Mary Gannon Design for many years at our home and our investment properties. Mary has always impressed us with her sound advice and perseverance to achieve the style, colour and designs that suit us at a cost that meets our budget. She is sensitive to our needs but tough when necessary with suppliers. She has won our trust over the years, which makes working with her a real pleasure. We highly recommend her.”

Refurbishment of the apartment at the Tower of London for the Master & Chief of the Royal Armouries

"Without Mary Gannon Design’s willingness to co-operate with issues of protocol and security at the Tower, their personal commitment to and belief in the project and tireless enthusiasm throughout, I do not believe we could have delivered the project on time or on budget."

"The prospect of redecorating and refurnishing three very tired spaces (sitting room, dining room and conservatory) was sufficiently daunting to have been placed firmly on the back-burner for several years. With Mary’s invaluable assistance and recommendations, within just a few weeks fabrics and wall coverings had been selected, potential problems successfully negotiated and decorators, upholsterers and curtain makers chosen and commissioned. A few weeks after that, decoration work commenced, with a minimum of disruption, and on its completion, furniture and furnishings were delivered and fitted according to schedule. The result has more than met our expectations and it is now hard to see why we put it off for so long. We are even contemplating work that needs to be done on another couple of rooms with something approaching equanimity."

"The wish, as the UK’s first mutual village, was to see our communal areas as an extension of our individual homes. In retrospect, we now consider ourselves more than extremely fortunate to find that a resident had a granddaughter, Mary Gannon, who the directors invited to submit ideas for refurbishment and upgrading the social rooms. The residents were consulted, liked her ideas and she was given a tight budget. The outcome was a great refurbishment achieved within budget. We are now proudly holding receptions for the local ‘great and the good’ to proudly show off our, or should I say her, achievement."
